De Speed of Sound is een stalen shuttle-achtbaan in het Nederlandse attractiepark Walibi Holland. De achtbaan werd gebouwd in 2000 na de overname van het park door de Six Flags-groep.
Speed of Sound is een standaard boomerang van Vekoma. In totaal zijn er reeds een vijftigtal van deze banen gebouwd, verspreid over de hele wereld. Kenmerkend voor de baan is dat de voertuigen eerst achteruit omhooggetrokken worden, om daarna vooruit losgelaten te worden. Na het bereiken van het einde van de baan wordt het traject in omgekeerde richting afgelegd, maar dan achteruitrijdend. Speed of Sound bevat drie inversies die allen twee keer doorlopen worden: een boomerang en een looping. De bezoekers ondergaan tijdens de rit dus zes inversies. In deze achtbaan worden twee nummers gedraaid, één tijdens de rit en de andere in het station.
