Dit icoon is één van de vier Wageningse laboratoria opgebouwd in de Amsterdamse School: Schip van Blaauw (voormalig Laboratorium voor Plantenfysiologie). Bijna een eeuw na de stichting van dit monument, bevat het nog prachtige authentieke details.
Schip van Blaauw (voormalig Laboratorium voor Plantenfysiologie) te WageningenDit voormalige laboratorium staat op de Wageningse Berg tussen Villa Hinkeloord en het voormalig laboratorium van Microbiologie. Het is in gebruik als kantoorruimte. U kunt het monument vanaf het bergpad op afstand bewonderen. Tijdens speciale openstellingen, zoals Open Monumentendag, is het mogelijk het gebouw van binnen te bewonderen.
Mocht het Schip van Blaauw u zodanig interesseren dan bestaat er de mogelijkheid de collegezaal en de foyer te huren voor feesten en evenementen.
