De aan de Heilige Hubertus toegewijde kerk in Genhout, daterend uit 1936, is uniek, alleen al door het grote aantal kunstenaars dat heeft meegewerkt aan de realisatie van dit gebouw. De bouwpastoor, Frans Welters, wist tal van kunstenaars te verleiden om mee te werken aan het interieur van de kerk. Dat waren onder andere Charles Eyck, Henri Jonas, Joep Nicolas, en Yvonne Trypels.
De Hubertuskerk is een van de verwonderlocaties op de Route vol Verwondering. Tijdens deze fietsroute door de Grensmaasvallei kunnen meer dan dertig locaties digitaal worden bezocht wanneer ze niet geopend zijn voor publiek.
