Zevenbergen is een Nederlandse stad en was tot 1998 een zelfstandige gemeente. In dat jaar fuseerde zij met vier andere gemeenten tot de nieuwe gemeente Moerdijk. Daarvan is Zevenbergen de hoofdplaats.Zevenbergen ligt in het noordwesten van de provincie Noord-Brabant tussen Etten-Leur en Klundert, in de buurt van Breda. Zevenbergen was echter tot 21 december 1805 een Hollandse stad. Op die datum wordt een nieuwe scheiding tussen Holland en Bataafs-Brabant gemaakt. Voortaan liep deze van Willemstad door het Hollandsch Diep en de Biesbosch naar Heusden.
