Aan de Koningsweg in Schaarsbergen (naast de ingang van 'De Hoge Veluwe') staat een grote bunker, die in de Tweede Wereldoorlog de codenaam Diogenes had. Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog was hier de staf van de Derde Jachtdivisie van de Luftwaffe gevestigd. Momenteel is het kolossale gebouw in gebruik als hulpdepot van de Rijksarchiefdienst.
