In 1944 werd in de parochie Liesbosch op de Bremberg, aan de splitsing Moerdijkse Postbaan en Hoogstraat, een kapel gebouwd ter ere van Maria.
Hiermee betoonde de parochie haar dankbaarheid voor besparing van oorlogsgeweld dat elders zoveel schade had aangericht.
