En 1944, une chapelle a été construite dans la paroisse de Liesbosch sur la Bremberg, à la jonction de la Moerdijkse Postbaan et de la Hoogstraat, en l'honneur de Marie.
Cela a permis à la paroisse de témoigner sa gratitude pour l'épargne de la violence de guerre qui avait causé tant de dégâts ailleurs.
