Ook als lokaal dorpscafé zijn wij een ontmoetingsplaats voor vele dorpsgenoten. Zo bieden wij onderdak aan de lokale biljartclub, dartclub en klaverjasclub. Verder zijn wij sinds jaar en dag de Bolderplaats van de Drentse Jachthoornblazers. Vanuit deze traditie kunt u ook regelmatig de lokale jachtgroepen bij ons aantreffen.
