Langs deze plaats loopt de Wetterroute. Deze loopt langs de mooie gezellige landelijke wegen en fietspaden tussen, langs en over het water, rijdend langs de veel op elkaar lijkende specifieke boerderijen met hun aparte stijl, in de altijd sfeervolle terug kerende landschappen met hun mooie natuur kwam ik regelmatig langs kleine gezellige gemeentjes waar ik een tussenstop nam voor wat bezienswaardigheden en sfeerbeelden te nemen.
