Dorst is een dorp in de gemeente Oosterhout, in de Nederlandse provincie Noord-Brabant. Het dorp heeft 3.015 inwoners . Dorst ligt vlak bij Rijen en de dichtstbijzijnde steden zijn Breda, Oosterhout en Tilburg.De naam Dorst zou afkomstig zijn van Dornt, wat zou verwijzen naar de meidoorn, die als veekering en perceelafscheiding werd gebruikt.
