Niet in de laatste plaats door de krachtige lamp in een markante lichtkoepel, met een bereik van maar liefst 16 zeemijlen. De vuurtoren biedt daarnaast een uniek uitzicht over de Schelde en de Noordzee, in combinatie met een minstens zo uniek inkijkje in onze maritieme geschiedenis!
