Een fijne wandeling die het hele jaar mooi is. Je wandelt een groot deel door het bos, maar loopt ook door een open veld en een klein stukje langs bewoond gebied. De route bevat zowel verharde als onverharde paden. Je parkeert aan de Koningin Julianaweg, het eerste parkeerterrein aan je rechterhand als je richting Hotel Tjaarda rijdt (net de bebouwing uit).
