Deze wandeling is ter ere van de troonswissel tussen Koningin Beatrix en haar zoon Prins Willem-Alexander, nu koning Willem-Alexander. De route start en eindigt aan het paleis op de Dam en de Nieuwe Kerk waar de inguldiging plaatsvond en verloopt langs de Pinsengracht, om het "prinsdom" uit te zwaaien.
