De Moskstraumen is een getijdenstroom aan de zuidzijde van de Lofoten tussen Moskenes en het eiland Værøy in Noorwegen.
Kenmerkend voor de stroom zijn de sterk kolkende waterstromen. Daarmee werd het het schoolvoorbeeld van gevaarlijke veelal fictieve waterstromen in veel verhalen, waarbij vaak een overdreven voorstelling van het fenomeen wordt geschetst. Met name Edgar Allan Poe en Jules Verne hebben de Moskstraumen literaire bekendheid gegeven.
