Monument gewijd aan José Arnaldo Molarinho, beter bekend als Gravador Molarinho, een beroemde goudsmid.
Gravador Molarinho werd geboren in Guimarães in 1828 en stierf in Porto in 1907. Zonder theoretische studies was hij autodidact en werd hij een vooraanstaand medailleur van zilver, brons, koper, ivoor en andere materialen. Er wordt echter gezegd dat hij nooit erg geaccepteerd werd in de kunstwereld omdat hij geen universitaire graad had.
Het bas-reliëf dat hem voorstelt werd ontworpen door Teixeira Lopes en het monument door António de Azevedo. Het werd in 1934 opgericht op initiatief van de Guimarães Defence and Propaganda Society en ingehuldigd in 1935. Het monument draagt de volgende inscriptie: "Land van kunstenaars en ambachtslieden dankt de arbeidende hebzucht zijn beste timbre van glorie". Het is een groot granieten bouwwerk.
