Dit is de vijfdee fontein op de monumentale trap van de Escadório dos Sentidos (Trap der Zintuigen) waarop zich fonteinen die de vijf zintuigen symboliseren bevinden.

De fontein heeft een reliëf van een hand met water dat uit de vingers druppelt. Ze verwijst naar de genezing en aanraking van Jezus, zoals bij wonderen, en het fysiek ervaren van geloof.
