De Pite älv is een Zweedse rivier die ontspringt bij de grens tussen Zweden en Noorwegen. Het gebied staat bekend onder de naam Sulitelma. De rivier is de dertiende grote rivier geteld vanaf de Finse grens. Het stroomgebied van de 403 kilometer lange rivier is 11.285 km². De rivier is vanwege haar wild karakter zeer in trek bij wildwaterkanoërs en vissers. Per seconde stroomt er 180 m³ door de rivier.
