De Europese Weg 4 of E4 is een weg die door Finland en Zweden loopt. Sedert de hernummering van de E-wegen heet de route formeel E55. Om praktische redenen blijft de bewegwijzering van de oude E4 gehandhaafd.
De weg begint bij Tornio in het noorden van Finland, loopt vervolgens naar het zuiden langs de Botnische Golf naar Gävle. Vervolgens loopt de weg meer het binnenland in en gaat uiteindelijk verder naar het zuiden, waar de weg eindigt bij Helsingborg in Zweden.
