Planica 1954 was een internationale ski-vliegweek competitie, gehouden van 13 tot 14 maart 1954 in Planica, PR Slovenië, FPR Joegoslavië. Het was het eerste evenement na de eerste grote heuvelrenovatie. 25.000 mensen bezochten het in vier dagen. Op 11 maart 1954 was de eerste training op de Srednja Bloudkova K80 normale heuvel volgens schema, die ook telde als kwalificatie voor het hoofd evenement op de grote heuvel, met in totaal ongeveer 100 sprongen in alle rondes. De Noorse ski-springer Thynes was die dag de langste met 82 meter, terwijl de Zweedse ski-springer Erlandson de sneeuw raakte op 86 meter. Janez Gorišek was de beste onder de binnenlandse springers met 70 meter.
