De Comeniusuniversiteit Bratislava is een universiteit in de Slowaakse hoofdstad Bratislava. De universiteit werd opgericht op 27 juni 1919, vlak na de stichting van Tsjechoslowakije. De instelling werd genoemd naar Jan Amos Comenius, een Tsjechisch filosoof en pedagoog.
Op 27 juni 1919 begon de universiteit met een faculteit voor geneeskunde en twee jaar later werden de faculteiten recht en filosofie aan het pakket toegevoegd. Bij de oprichting van de universiteit werden de Slowaken geholpen door de Karelsuniversiteit in Praag. In de eerste jaren waren vele professoren dan ook Tsjechen. De huidige naam, Comenius, droeg de instelling vanaf het begin. Tussen 1939 en 1954 echter droeg ze de naam Slowaakse Universiteit. Tegenwoordig is de universiteit opgedeeld in dertien faculteiten.
