National Mall en Memorial Parks is een eenheid van het National Park Service, die verantwoordelijk is voor vele nationale gedenktekens en andere gebieden in Washington, D.C. Dit omvat:
Federale parken zijn sinds 1790 in de hoofdstad, ze behoren tot de oudste in de Verenigde Staten. In 1933 werden ze onder de controle van het National Park Service gebracht. Deze parken stonden tot 1965 bekend als de National Capital Parks. Het NPS beheert tegenwoordig verschillende parkgroepen: de National Capital Parks-East, het Rock Creek Park, het President’s Park en de George Washington Memorial Parkway. National Mall en Memorial Parks biedt ook technische ondersteuning voor het United States Navy Memorial.
