Op vrijdag 12 januari 2007 vond hier op het station een merkwaardig experiment plaats. De beroemde Grammy-winnende violist Joshua Bell speelde hier een paar meesterwerken van Bach. Het experiment was opgezet om te testen of we "schoonheid" en "talent" zouden opmerken wanneer we het horen of zien. De meeste jonge kinderen bleven staan om te luisteren, maar werden door hun ouders weggesleept. 27 volwassenen bleven staan en gaven Joshua een paar dollar. Hij gebruikte een viool van 3 miljoen dollar. Zou schoonheid in een banale omgeving op een ongelegen moment transcendent zijn? Het antwoord: 1070 mensen passeerden Bell zonder hem enige aandacht te schenken.
