De Slag bij de Little Bighorn, ook wel Custer's Last Stand was een slag tussen Indianen en het Amerikaanse leger, die op 25 juni 1876 plaatsvond in een vallei van de rivier Little Bighorn, nabij Crow Agency in Montana.
De voornaamste aanleiding was dat twee indianenstammen, namelijk Sioux en Cheyenne, hun reservaten verlieten en zich verzamelden in Montana om onder leiding van Sioux opperhoofden Sitting Bull, Crazy Horse en Touch the Clouds verder te vechten tegen de blanken.
