Aan de ingang van het Jubelpark tref je de kleine buste aan van de grote Robert Schuman, père fondateur van de Europese Unie. Merkwaardig dat deze man zo een klein monumentje kreeg. Negen mei 1950 wordt als de geboortedag van de Europese Unie gezien. Dat is de dag waarop het Schumanplan ondertekend werd.
