So-called "Castle Ter Lede" located in a surrounding park between the railway line Gent-Antwerp and Spoorwegstraat. Brick and natural stone castle with eclectic features built in 1887 and initially owned by the Coget de la Kethulle family, later by the Morel de Westgaver family. Dated "Anno 1887" on a façade stone at the top of the left gable. Castle with double house elevation, three bays wide and two stories over a basement, under a mansard roof (slate). Front façade with protruding corner risalits bordered by corner pilasters. The spandrel of the left risalit ends in a round arch inscribed in a stepped gable with shoulder pieces. Partly wooden oriel on the ground floor with an iron balcony railing. A white neoclassical portico on slender corner columns against the front façade with a flaring curved staircase, a wide main cornice with a surrounding baluster railing for the upper terrace. The right rear corner expanded into a rectangular corner tower under a steep gable roof. Hard stone frames, flat bands, and surrounding lists and cordons. Coach house and staff residence housed together in a picturesque brick building under a hipped slate gable roof topped by a small wooden lantern. Corner house with an attic on a high basement lit by small barred arched windows. Spacious round arch window in both gables. Arched entrance door in the octagonal tower with a bell-shaped slate tower helmet against the right side façade, accessible via a steep staircase (11 steps). Arched gate to the left of a slightly protruding central risalit with an arched door under a roof overhang. A climbing dormer window and an oeil de boeuf in the front gable roof.
