The Ibbenbüren Plateau or Schafberg is a high plateau north of the German town of Ibbenbüren, with elevation differences of up to 100 meters and wide vistas. The plateau is about 10 km long and there are many quiet roads leading up to it. The climbs are often quite steep (up to 15%, sometimes even steeper) and is therefore a popular area for cycling tours (such as the Tecklenburger Rundfahrt).
