De Hoop is a round, stone belt mill, which is located at Molenerf 2 in Sprundel, Brabant. The mill was built in 1840 by order of Cornelis Peters. This was followed by various owners, until in 1907 the Verpaalen family bought the mill. Around 1970, the municipality of Rucphen became the owner of the mill. Commissioned by the municipality, De Hoop has been meticulously restored. There are two pairs of grinding stones in the mill.
Molen De Hoop is open every Tuesday from 10:00 to 15:00.
In addition, the first and third Saturday of the month, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
