Play area "Waterstraat"
An old football field was redeveloped into a play area in 2020-2021. In the elaboration, the Flemish Land Agency responded to the theme of the Bronze Age. Several circular structures on the playground refer to burial mounds from this period. Over the past few decades, many circular tracks have been discovered in the vicinity of the Rivierbeek in Oostkamp via aerial photographs.
