This 16th-century building, located at the Lisseweegs Vaartje in the center of the White Village, was until recently (early 2022) a restaurant. This house was already an inn in the late Middle Ages, where even until the mid-19th century the Municipal Council met in the 'Voutekamer'.
In the fifteenth century, Hans Memlinc lived with his wife Anna De Valckenaere in this house, hence the name. A commemorative plaque is embedded in the wall.
The white village Lissewege, which is among the ten most beautiful villages in Flanders, is known for its sculpture route in the summer.
