The Porte Saint-André, also known as the Porte de Langres, is one of the four gates that pierce the Augustan enclosure of Augustodunum (Autun) along with the Porte d'Arroux.
This gate, dating from the first century, leads Autun on the road to Langres. The monumental gate was partially rebuilt in antiquity and then restored in the nineteenth century under the guidance of Eugène Viollet-Le-Duc. It has been classified as a historical monument since 1846.
