Welcome to the beautiful South Limburg. The South Limburg landscape is ideally suited for a wonderful cycling tour.

The Amstel Gold Race route, the only cycling classic in the Netherlands, is a tough challenge for any cycling tourist. Anyone who follows the route signs of the Amstel Gold Race (loop 4) will come face to face with various South Limburg climbs.

The route features approximately 750 meters of elevation over many climbs that are mostly unknown to the general public. You will encounter leg-burners such as the Huls, the Goudsberg, the Stoepert, the Windrakerberg, Wanenberg, and Watersley. An unknown gem indeed, but a loop to drool over for enthusiasts. You will be amazed by the beautiful nature, the cyclist-friendly paths, the stunning views, and of course, the many terraces to take a break.

Parking and starting can be done at the Amstel Gold Experience (De Leeuwhof 2 in Valkenburg a/d Geul), located in the cycling mecca of the Par'cours. Here you can also enjoy a cup of coffee or rent a bike.
