Normandy, Brittany, and Loire-Atlantique: a vast area of living heritage awaits you! The Régalante crosses a territory formerly known as the "Marches of Brittany". From north to south, this bike route follows a line of medieval fortresses that once formed the border between Brittany and France. There are no fewer than four heritage towns (Fougères, Vitré, Châteaubriant, and Nantes), not to mention Mont Saint-Michel. You will find castles, medieval fortresses, markets, half-timbered houses, as well as a true connection with exuberant nature.
