This station-to-station walk in South Limburg takes you from station Schin op Geul to station Valkenburg via walking junctions through the characteristic chalk landscape. You follow parts of the Geul and walk through the Geulpark, where nature and open views alternate. Along the way, impressive chalk walls and the rolling landscape create a typical South Limburg atmosphere.

You pass in succession Castle Oost, the Geulpark, Castle Schaloen, and Castle Genhoes, after which you continue walking along special places in the Geuldal. The climb to Heunsberg offers a beautiful view over Valkenburg. Via walking junctions, you reach station Valkenburg, from where you can easily return to the starting point.
