Welcome to beautiful South Limburg and especially to the municipality of Beekdaelen. This route leads through a barely discovered part of Limburg full of forests, breathtaking views deep into Germany, lovely stream valleys and centuries-old arable land.

The route takes you past villages and hamlets with fairytale names such as Etzenrade, Bingelrade, Doenrade, Quabeek, Merkelbeek and Jabeek. The route consists of two parts. You can walk both parts together in about 5 hours. You can also walk one of the two parts (abbreviated at Bingelrade).

The route can be followed via the black (ring) posts. Under the download button you can also find a separate route description. You can park in the Doenrade near the castle, where you can also enjoy a delicious cup of coffee.
