Welcome to beautiful South Limburg and especially to the municipality of Echt-Susteren. This walking route of more than 8 kilometers takes you through the beautiful IJzerenbosch. You can start from the Hommelheide Estate or the train station in Susteren. The detour is intrigued in the button-walking system and indicated by information boards. You can also download (under the heading 'From the author') a separate route description.

Please note: if you take the route via the Rijdtstraat and the Biezerdweg and do not walk along the stream, it is also passable for people with a walker or stroller.
