Description by the author

De track gaat met de wijzers van de klok mee. Startpunt is Montbrun-les-Bains, en je klimt naar Aurel en vervolgens ga je naar Sault. Vanuit Sault fiets je de makkelijkste kant van de Mont-Ventoux op.
De afdaling van de Mont-Ventoux naar Malaucène is lang en steil (tot 12%), indien de mistral niet waait kun je hier hoge snelheden halen. In geval van de mistral-wind, is het echt opletten geblazen in de afdaling.

Na Malaucène volg je de D242, een zeer bochtige weg met drie klimmetjes erin: Col des Astauds, Col des Gainons en Col de Veaux. Daarna volg je de vallei van de Toulourenc, het eerste deel gaat omhoog en staat bekend als Côte de Bluye (die in feite een voortzetting is van Col de Veaux).

Doe je de track in omgekeerde richting, dan zal je de steilste kant van de Mont-Ventoux te wachten staan.
