- the Galloway trail (3.7 km), which takes you through both the Abtsheide and the Pomp-Poelberg nature reserve. From May to December, a limited number of Galloway cattle and konik horses graze here. Both Abtsheide and Pomp-Poelberg are completely fenced with an electric fence.
Large grazers and dogs do not go together. Dogs and other pets, even on a leash, are therefore not allowed. Keep your distance from the grazers and do not feed them.
For all hikes, especially in wet periods, we recommend sturdy and waterproof footwear. Unfortunately, strollers are not possible.
