AzureThe Ommetje Genhout is an almost 8 km long walking route in and around Genhout. In this walking route, the former border between the Spanish and the State Netherlands is made visible with border posts. You will also discover the church dedicated to Saint Hubert in Genhout, dating from 1937. This was built under the direction of architect Alphons Boosten from Maastricht. Because of the large number of artists who participated in the realization of this building, the church is also called the artists' church. You can park at this special church. The route can be followed via the special Ommetje Genhout signs.
