Varied cycling tour Utrechtse Heuvelrug

Car: starts at parking lot* t.o. Ludenlaan 1, 3941 CN Doorn, municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug, The Netherlands. Free parking.

Train: Maarn railway station, the Netherlands (with local train from Utrecht).

In every season, this is a varied bike ride along meadows and through the forests of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. You will pass the Asparagus Field in Doorn and the Zanderij Maarn, through the village of Maarn, which was created by sand extraction, past the Leersumse Veld and the Breeveen heathland. After the Darthuizerpoort and Broekhuizen Castle, you cycle via the hamlets of Darthuizen and the Steenen Brug in the transition area between the Utrechtse Heuvelrug and the Kromme Rijn to the end point.
