A varied route in the border area of East South Limburg. The beautiful stream valley where the border river Worm meanders, and the lovely Beenbos. The river Worm is also the habitat of the beaver, and you will often come across its gnawing traces. The Rolduc Abbey, the former Nieuw Ehrenstein court, and many other notable sights. The destination is the Mariental, a former gravel pit just behind the border at Rimburg, which is now a nature reserve. The wild lupines grow abundantly here, and the area is characterized by its tranquility and obscurity.
