Markvalleipad Noord , Update May 2020 to more unpaved

The northernmost part of the markvaleipad starting point http://www.trekkings.be/markvalleipad.htm this part is the most adapted On the cycle path along the mark Het grensland 10 Rijsbergen and over the region GR Kempen . Deviates from the walking nodes only in one place

With a length of 42 km, the Mark valley path is more of a 'short long-distance path'. The national border with the Netherlands, which we cross a few times, is just as erratic as the course of the river Mark itself through the Noorderkempen. The path runs in this northernmost corner of Flanders over pancake flat, sandy terrain where the cultivation of strawberries dominates.

Important update
The Mark Valley Trail is no longer a long-distance route since June 2014. The separate signage has been removed, you now USUALLY have to follow nodes of the network 'Kempense Kolonies' and other paths EASIEST IS GPS and the route can be divided into 3 full sections the northern part (12.3 km) and a middle part of (16.1 km) and a southern part (19 km). And have now edited it to more unpaved and what they describe http://www.trekkings.be/markvalleipad.htm as the most boring is out and along the mark (Is cycle path made of asphalt but not at all comparable to where it used to go and is in the northern part ) The southern part is also fairly adapted over slow roads that have since been restored .
