Departure from the church of Wetteren-Ten-Ede.
There is plenty of parking available.
The walk runs along the nature reserves of De Ham, Bastenakkers as well as along the water pumping station of the Schelde Sigma Plan.
The section along the Schelde can be busy (including many cyclists) on sunny or weekend days.
The walk also passes by the castle of Baron Braun (Castle Runenborg).
This route is an extension of the walking route "Nature Reserves De Ham, Bastenakkers and through the Bommels" (8.8 km)
