The Hoppeland bike route introduces you to the landscape northwest of Poperinge, near the French-Belgian border. The name refers to the hop plant that found fertile ground here in the clay soil. Starting from the hop town, the route leads to charming places like Roesbrugge, Haringe, and Sint-Jan-ter-Biezen. Interesting sights along the way include the center of Poperinge with the Hop Museum and the Talbothouse, the Saint Sixtus Abbey, Couthof Castle, and the Helleketel Forest.
