Bike path around the Postel Abbey

The original Miel Otten route dates back to May 1976. Miel Otten was the director of the Brepols factories in Turnhout. He was one of the pioneers of bicycle tourism in the Kempen and also a friend of Postel and its monastery. Now, 33 years later, the Antwerp Kempen has wrapped the route in a completely new guise, with the name change being particularly noticeable. The route is fully connected to the junction network. With this route, you can explore the area between the Herentals - Bocholt canal and the Dutch border. The main attraction is the Abbey of Postel, located in the middle of the Kempen forests. Additionally, to the south of the route, you will pass the Blue Stone, the nature reserve De Maat, Sunparks Kempense Meren, the provincial area Zilvermeer, the Eco Center De Goren, and Zilverstrand.
