Sporty cycling loop of 75 km with some challenging climbs (500 meters of elevation gain). This route is partly on unpaved roads (28 km unpaved). Start at the Sven Nys Cycling Center. The muddy paths of Demerbroeken and the forest roads of Averbode lead you to the medieval Maagdentoren in Zichem. Further along, the slopes of Grasbos, also known as the Poggio of Diest, await you. Next up is the citadel of Diest and Vlooyberg with the famous Vlooybergtoren at the top. You will also pass the wine slopes of Houwaart, after which you can enjoy a glass on the terrace of Eetcafé Velo upon arrival at the Sven Nys Cycling Center, as well as a shower for yourself and your bike.
