DE HARTSTOCHT - SOUTH - Cultural cycle route Compagnie Cecilia

This South route of De Hartstocht runs through Ghent, Afsnee and Deurle.

You will hear stories from Bieke Prunelle, Patricia Kargbo, Wouter Bruneel and Peter De Graef about the concept of 'node'.

Bieke Purnelle is a writer, columnist and co-director of RoSa vzw, knowledge centre for gender, feminism and equal opportunities. Her columns about course for Radio 1 and De Standaard are delightful little jokes.

At Compagnie Cecilia, De Hartstocht is the first project she works on.

Patricia Kargbo has recently graduated from the Drama programme of the RITCS. She played in the performance Métisse by Theater Antigone and Action Zoo Humain. Together with Lucie Plasschaert, Iris Donders and Gina Beuk, she has founded a provisionally unnamed collective.

At Compagnie Cecilia, De Hartstocht is the first project she works on.

Wouter Bruneel is an actor and theatre maker. He played in Eigen Kweek, Bevergem and Zie mij graag. He likes to play and speak straight from the heart and loves to send people home with laughter cramps, which is "the best vaccine you can get in these times".

At Compagnie Cecilia he played in De broers Geboers. He is also working on new material.

Peter De Graef is a master storyteller and winner of the Louis d'Or (Dutch prize for best theatre actor). In addition to acting and directing, he wrote award-winning lyrics such as Ombat, Henry, N!ks and As things go. He worked together with various theatre groups, is the driving force behind the ZIT project and on television he played in, among others, Den elfde van den elfde, Zie mij graag and De bende van Jan de Lichte.

At Compagnie Cecilia he will soon present Geen kersentuin, together with Elise Bundervoet and Loes Swaenepoel.
