With 70 km, this is an ideal tour for a relaxing day of scooter or bike enjoyment! The route starts and ends at PlezantHageland. You ride through the fruit orchards and meander along the same roads where Eddy Merckx prepared for his races. You pass the church of Meensel-Kiezegem and the statue of the 'Cannibal' at his birthplace on Tieltsestraat. Other sights not to be missed include: the famous cycling café Boerenhof, where the winner's jerseys on the wall still 'breathe the race', the popular Vlooybergtower in Tielt-Winge - from the series Callboys - and the picturesque brasserie Gempemolen in Sint-Joris Winge. A beautiful, centuries-old watermill where Jeroen Meus' brother surprises you with a drink, a small bite, or a gastronomic dish. As a bonus, you pass by the largest nature reserve in Hageland 'Het Vinne'. Here you can enjoy a nice terrace and appreciate nature. Electric scooters are silent, allowing the birds to come close to you.
