Skópelos és una illa grega de l'Egeu occidental, una de les Espòrades Septentrionals. Skópelos se situa a l'est de la Grècia continental, al nord-est de l'illa d'Eubea, i forma part del departament de Magnèsia i de la regió de Tessàlia.
Les seves màximes altituds són el mont Delfi , al centre de l'illa, i Palouki , al sud-est. Amb una superfície de 95 km², Skópelos és lleugerament més gran que Míkonos i més petit que Santorí. Les illes habitades més properes són Escíatos a l'oest i Alónnissos a l'est. L'any 2001 tenia 4.696 habitants.
