Die Universität Klagenfurt ist eine staatliche Universität im österreichischen Bundesland Kärnten. Sie wurde 1970 als Hochschule für Bildungswissenschaften gegründet und 1993 zur Universität Klagenfurt umgegründet. In den THE World University Rankings 2022 zählt sie zu den besten 400 Universitäten weltweit und rangiert auf Platz 5 in Österreich; in den THE Young University Rankings 2021 lag sie auf Platz 48 der jungen Universitäten der Welt.
