Auf ruhiger und einsamer Strecke vorbei an verschneiten Bäumen – die Waldloipe bei Leutasch verströmt eine märchenhafte Atmosphäre in wunderbarer Landschaft. Es gibt zwar keine knackigen Anstiege, die Loipe ist dennoch eher etwas für trainierte Langlaufende. Start und Endpunkt liegen in der Nähe von Skibushaltestellen.
Die Loipe startet am östlichen Rand des Leutascher Ortsteils Ostbach, ein Einstieg ist über die Loipe A6 (Alpenbad) möglich. Die Waldloipe schlängelt sich in zwei langgezogenen Kurven zum höchsten Punkt hinauf, von dort aus geht es leicht abfallend auf fast gerader Strecke mit sanften Kurven bis zum Schlusspunkt am Alpenbad. Unterwegs wird zweimal der Wanderweg gekreuzt. Über die Loipe A6 (Alpenbad) ist ein Rundkurs möglich.
